1 Gun, 3 ways to carry.

An edc belt/holster set up is like a good purse, no 1 fits every occasion. - KJ “Kimakazee86”

For those of you on the struggle bus as I once was, here are a few looks and products that you can add to your CCW toolbox.

It is my preference to carry  on-body via Appendix Carry (AIWB/IWB). This position consistently works for my body type and I find to be the most natural.

Although all the options provided are suitable for both men and women, it is undeniable that women have a wider range of clothing choices, which can make navigating the realm of clean concealment overwhelming. Hopefully, these options will be beneficial!

The gun I am styling around is the G48.

I chose to upgrade to the Shield Arms mag catch/extended mag combo which allowed me to increase the capacity from the standard 10 rounds to 15.

Red Dot: CHPWS EDC Red dot

Trigger: Overwatch Precision Tac trigger

Why I chose this gun as my edc?

After moving to Texas a few years ago, I quickly realized the importance of having concealment options that were more streamlined due to the frequent hot weather. When it comes to concealment, the general rule is that smaller firearms are easier to conceal. However, it's important to consider that smaller guns can be more difficult to handle, as they tend to have a shorter barrel, sight radius, increased felt recoil, and reduced accuracy. Therefore, choosing a concealed carry weapon involves making certain tradeoffs. While a smaller gun allows for easier concealment and more clothing options, a larger firearm, despite being easier to shoot, presents its own challenges when it comes to concealing it.

Let’s get into the looks!

Look 1

Everyday (with belt loops)

Blush Madewell top, shorts from Express

Belt- *Wilder Tactical Minimalist EDC Belt

Holster- *Rain City Tactical Slim Line Pro 2.0 w/sidecar

“This is a top that I must admit to wearing far too often. It is just really easy to wear with shorts or jeans and flowy top to help with printing.”

Over the years shopping has changed for me, my eye tends to go towards clothing with certain shapes that allow for easier concealment. A-Lined dresses have become a staple in my wardrobe because the shape of the dress, like the letter “A” flared out at the mid-section which is forgiving when you AIWB/IWB.
