KJ Jenkins is a self-defense instructor specializing in concealed carry, practical training, and gear evaluation.
With over 15 years of personal carry experience, she works with a wide range of students—from new firearm owners to those refining more advanced skills—focusing on building consistency, control, and performance that holds up outside the range.
Her approach goes beyond firearms alone. Drawing from experience in combatives, physical fitness, and first aid, she teaches self-defense as a complete system—built around what works in real-world conditions.
In 2023, she placed 3rd in the Women’s Tactical Division at the Texas Regional Tactical Games.
TRAINING APPROACH
KJ’s instruction focuses on clarity and application—helping students understand not just what to do, but why it works. Whether working with new shooters or those refining their skills, her goal is the same: build repeatable performance that translates beyond the range.
She also brings a practical, experience-driven perspective to gear—working with and testing equipment in a way that reflects how it’s actually used, not just how it’s marketed.
